Lenore, born in San Francisco, and raised in Palo Alto attended colleges in the Bay Area receiving a BA from San Francisco State University with a TV Production major/Music minor. She spent 32 years in the broadcasting industry, culminating her career at National Public Radio in Washington, DC before making her first career change. From broadcasting she moved to the Internet industry and was involved for 10 years working with start-ups, during the infancy of this exciting business.
Real Estate was always an interest and an industry she wanted to migrate into, doing so in 2002, where she now works with her husband, Alex, helping people find the perfect home. Lenore’s philosophy is that looking for a home is like courting. You know when you’ve found the right one. And, because of this, she has tremendous patience working with her clients in this courting process.
Lenore counted up how many times she’s moved as an adult and it is 19 times. Two of those moves were cross country, so she has a good idea what it is like to move from a familiar community into one where it is a challenge to find a bank, doctor, dentist, cleaner and hair dresser. She’s had to get rid of boxes from a large move, figure out where to put things ahead of the un-packers, and decorated multiple homes. She’s walked the walk, and talked the talk and knows first-hand what it is like to resettle.
Alex and Lenore live in Foster City with their two cats, Boris & Natasha. They have 4 children (one daughter who lives in San Mateo with her family, and 3 sons with one in San Francisco, one in Santa Barbara and one in Orange). They have lived in the East Bay as well as the Peninsula and San Francisco. Lenore has had to make that commute from the east bay to San Francisco and the Peninsula and knows first hand what it is like – which is not fun so she has lots of commuting tips to share.
Their motto is to “Making Your Real Estate Dreams a Reality!” and they mean that. Most real estate transactions have bumps along the way and it is their job to make sure things go smoothly. They like being a resource to their clients and take very good care of them. The relationships with their clients are like jewels – to be treasured and taken care of.
