Labor Day Weekend is Looking Good for Fun: San Mateo CA

Labor Day weekend is traditionally the end of summer and that means the end of art festivals. There are several going on this weekend worth noting and taking some time to enjoy. The big ones in San Mateo County have been around for a long time and are well worth your time to go and enjoy.

Sunday is the Annual Burlingame Criterium

Incorporated in the Criterium is the 7th Annual Ryan Phua Memorial Kids Ride for children 12 and under to race on the same course the adults will use. There is no charge for children to race but parents are being asked to make a donation to the Ryan Phua Memorial Fund which has been established through the Lance Armstrong Foundation, to fund cancer related programs in the Bay Area.

Do You Love the Beatles? Come and Listen Today & Tomorrow: San Carlos, CA

The Foster City Community Chorus, and Heart & Soul, is performing today and tomorrow at The Church of the Epiphany, 1839 Arroyo Ave, in San Carlos. If you love the Beatles you’ll love this performance. Musical Director Paul Hurst took the original scores of the Beatles and transcribed them for choral voice.
