The Harvest Festival November 11-13: San Mateo CA
The Harvest Festival is coming to town! If you love buying hand made holiday gifts this is the place for you. It’s going to be held at the San Mateo Events Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 11 through 13. Can’t get there is weekend? Well you’re in luck because it’s going to also be held in San Jose Thanksgiving weekend at the San Jose Convention Center, November 25th through 27th.

I have one word of caution for you this year if you must drive to see the fireworks. There will be a $10 charge for parking your car in the Parkside Tower garage at Shell and E. Hillsdale Blvd. Handicap parking is always free and will be at the Library lot across from Parkside Tower. This parking fee is to offset the cost of providing the only fireworks between San Francisco and Mountain View so please don’t complain!
Sunday is the 8th Annual Burlingame Criterium
Incorporated in the Criterium is the 8th Annual Ryan Phua Memorial Kids Ride for children 12 and under to race on the same course the adults will use. There is no charge for children to race but parents are being asked to make a donation to the Ryan Phua Memorial Fund which has been established through the Lance Armstrong Foundation, to fund cancer related programs in the Bay Area.
This Saturday’s the Day for Easter Egg Hunts in San Mateo County
With Easter coming up this weekend, the 2011 Easter Egg Hunts are too. Rain or Shine they will take place this coming Saturday, April 23rd, throughout San Mateo County and one special one is on Sunday. From my weather search it might rain and then again, it might be sunny, so be prepared with rain gear and baskets for the children.

Do You Love the Beatles? Come and Listen Today & Tomorrow: San Carlos, CA
The Foster City Community Chorus, and Heart & Soul, is performing today and tomorrow at The Church of the Epiphany, 1839 Arroyo Ave, in San Carlos. If you love the Beatles you’ll love this performance. Musical Director Paul Hurst took the original scores of the Beatles and transcribed them for choral voice.
