Who owns that tree in front of your house? You know, the one between the sidewalk and the street. The one with beautiful shade in the summer. The one pushing up the sidewalk in front of your house. Do you own it or does the city? After all, didn’t the city originally plant the tree years ago? Guess what! It doesn’t matter. It’s your problem and if the city decides that the sidewalk in front of your house is a trip zone, be prepared for the bill from the city to replace the sidewalk. And, when the bill comes. Pay it or it will go onto your tax bill next year.
The final city in our sphere of influence is San Carlos, 94070, one of my favorite cities on the Peninsula. This city has great weather, good schools and in my opinion, one of the best downtowns around with local shops and wonderful restaurants. This weekend offers some fun family activities in our corner of the world. As we bill ourselves as the Singing Realtors, come and hear us and our Foster City Community Chorus singing our Spring Concert, “With A Voice of Singing”, both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We offer a wide variety of music and lively afternoon.
If you enjoy hearing fine music then this weekend should provide you with some great entertainment. Friday night, the Peninsula Symphony presents a concert filled with voices singing Prokofiev’s Alexander Nevsky. The 110 member San Jose Symphonic Choir, conduced by Maestro Leroy Kromm joins with local Mezzo-Soprano soloist Wendy Hillhouse
