Lunch Along Burlingame Avenue, Burlingame California
We don’t always go out to lunch during our weekday for no apparent reason, but just that, we don’t. Today, we decided to hit Burlingame Avenue and grab something good to eat. Since there is no shortage of restaurants around Burlingame Avenue it’s sometimes hard to decide what to eat and where to go. A great place to stop, if you’re into Mediterranean food is Mediterranean Kebab. Fresh, tasty food is on the menu board above the ordering counter in the rear of the restaurant. Prices are reasonable, too. There is no table service, so you place your order, sit down at a table and they serve it to you .
I usually like salads at lunch so today I had the Mediterranean Chicken salad. It comes with loads and loads of warm chicken off the Gyros on top of the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Wow, what a tasty treat. Alex had a combo wrap loaded with lamb, beef and chicken. Now, this isn’t a small wrap but about 8 inches in length. He thought it was super delicious.
We generally have lunch there, but they do serve the same menu at dinner time. If you’re there around the dinner hour, I recommend the Kebab’s. They comes with rice and a side salad and of course warm pita bread. The prices are modest for a dinner on Burlingame Avenue.
