Burlingame’s Mills Estates Market Report for 3.11.09

Burlingame Mills Estates homeThe Mills Estates covers the northern most part of Burlingame running between El Camino Real and 280, the the southern most portion of Millbrae.  In fact, the only way to know which city you are in while driving along the streets that borders each city is by looking at the street number as it jumps from a 3 digit to a 4 digit number.

The homes were built between the late 1950’s and into the late 1970’s with by different builders.  Trousdale Blvd is the main boulevard up through the Burlingame portion of Mills Estates.  The homes are large, and some have views of the bay and San Francisco Airport and if they’re situated towards the north, can see San Francisco as well.

Lots are generally good sized.  Depending on location many are flat, others run up or down a hillside.  Franklin School, the top scoring school in Burlingame, is the elementary school for the neighborhood.

It’s an easy commute from Mills Estates to San Francisco or south down to the Valley.  The proximity to SFO makes this a well desired area in Burlingame.

The current market for the Burlingame side of Mills Estates is seen below.  Should you wish to see any of the active properties we’re only a phone call away at 650-696-2820.
