The average length of time a house is listed today is 165 days. Hillsborough is what some might call a Tony area with trees, privacy and some fantastic views. It attracts people who want privacy, good public schools and caché. The inventory of houses for sale has decreased lately, perhaps because we’re at year’s end, or because the banks have finally opened up their lending portfolios and we’re seeing loans rather than moths flying out of them. The good news is we saw 8 sales.
